"Masked Rider 555" is celebrating its 20th anniversary since it began broadcasting, and various commemorations are in development, including the production announcement of the new "Masked Rider 555 20th Paradise Regained." As part of the celebrations, we're releasing S.H.Figuarts (SHINKOCCHOU SEIHOU) MASKED RIDER FAIZ, which arrives in stores on August 26, 2023!  In this blog, we're going to introduce the product sample once again, and perhaps some information about the continuation of the series...

S.H.Figuarts (SHINKOCCHOU SEIHOU) MASKED RIDER FAIZ

At long last, S.H.Figuarts (SHINKOCCHOU SEIHOU) MASKED RIDER FAIZ has arrived. For basic specifications such as accessories and full body movement, please refer to the review of the prototype released when preorders opened, as well as the interview with Kento Handa, who portrayed Takumi Inui in "Masked Rider 555," which was also released at the same time.

The package size and design follow the standard format of the SHINKOCCHOU SEIHOU series. It has a two-layer structure, the first with the main body and the second with the included parts such as the interchangeable hands and Faiz Gear,

Starting with this product, the material used for the white blister packaging has been changed for items in the S.H.Figuarts (SHINKOCCHOU SEIHOU) KAMEN RIDER series. This is an attempt to reduce the amount of plastic used for packaging from an environmental protection perspective. For details, please refer to the "Sustainability at TAMASHII NATIONS" page (link below), which was published at the same time as this article.

A part of this item that was particularly well received, was the new experimental mechanism which connects the shoulder armor and body with soft material. As a result, the shoulder armor will not rotate even when the arms are spread, and it is possible to take action poses while maintaining an appearance close to the show.
Take a look at the "Faiz Shot," a pose with both arms outstretched horizontally.

*Leaving the shoulder armor raised for a long period of time may cause it to retain the bent shape. In such a case, this can be corrected by reinserting the shoulder armor into the blister packaging, or wrapping in it paper or other material for some time to reset the shape and positioning of the armor.

"Ready. Exceed charge."

Of course, Faiz's signature pose while standing by for his Crimson Smash attack can be magnificently recreated even with the product samples. Experience for yourself how the soft materials have been adopted with careful attention to detail, and how the part structure reproduces the movement of the human body.
